FROM HERE ON
From Here On suggests a point of departure. A moment of turning from what was, towards new and undetermined directions. The work presented has been created by ten graduate students in their MFA at the University of Victoria. This cohort of artists is at a pivotal moment in their practices, moving together and fostering relationships through the unknown. Ranging in medium, concept, and materials, From Here On is a glimpse of each artist’s evolving research at this particular time and the challenges, expressions, spaces, and ways of making this group share.
