STRATEGIC PLANNING
The Victoria Arts Council launched a planning process in July 2011, with insights and assistance from BC Arts, and the Victoria Foundation, and especially Volunteer Victoria.
The impetus was completion of an 18 month program of cost reductions to align expenditures with income. The 2011/12 Business Plan specifically defined future organizational goals and programs. It became the platform for a more comprehensive planning and evaluation cycle, which includes annual business plans, annual performance evaluations, under the umbrella of a 5 Year Strategic Plan.
